Since OSX doesn't let Finder get write access to mounted FTP sites, I

Is it possible to have a shell script do the job for me?
I tried scripting FTP from the Terminal, and it worked fine, but I

love to do it all in one "Do shell script", without having to start up
Terminal.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Do a man curl and use curl from "do shell script"
I constantly use ftp via terminal, but if you want "silence", curl is
the way to go.
It is also very fast.
