Sending postscript file to printer

  • Subject: Sending postscript file to printer

I'm writing a folder action which will do various things to files added to a
folder. I'm stuck on the first thing - the file will be postscript, and I
want to print it. I've tried 'print' and 'move to item "XRX_0000AA5E0824" '
and neither works.

Most of my scripting has been in Quark and text based, and I find that when
it comes to the Finder I am at a complete loss. I've been googling this but
not found anything so basic that covers this problem!

Thanks for any help,

Emma Glaisher

PS I will also want to distill the postscript file to make a pdf and print
that, but I can't think about that till I've got the first thing working!
