Listerines,
I use a dropper to upload via Fetch 4.02. It's older than the hills, and has
never given me a problem.
When trying to convert the dropper to use URL Access scripting, I've hit a
snag.
My server requires user name entry in a form that contains an '@' character,
as in: email@hidden
The server will also accept the '#' as a replacement, precisely for clients
that do not handle the '@' well in that context.
Neither user@ nor user# will pass muster with UAS, and escaping
doesn't help either. The error is always: Authentication Failed (which
makes sense if whole other character chunks are being considered as part of
the username.)
The dropper works just fine if I do not include the user:pass info in the
URL, and enter it manually each connection.
Does anyone out there use UAS with a server that uses either of these
username formats (which are ridiculous, IMO) and could you tell me how you
passed that through UAS? Or is this a bug in URL Access?
Thanks,

Gary
P.S. I am still wondering if I can pass a variable value as property name
to a script object.
