On Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at 03:49 PM, Marc K. Myers pondered:

Thank you! By setting the visible property *after* adding the
recipients worked for me, too. Why it works that way I doubt we'll
ever know.

Are you following this, Apple Mail/AppleScript support? I think this
is *definitely* a bug.

FYI, I seriously doubt anyone from Apple is paying much attention *in that respect*. File a bug report with Apple's BugReporter <https://bugreport.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/RadarWeb>. If you haven't used it before, then you'll have to send a message to Apple to fix the bug in BugReporter, otherwise it won't let you in. (I still find that amusing that BugReporter has a long standing bug in it).

The way Apple deals with bugs is they look for reports sent in through BugReporter. Multiple submissions of the same bug are considered as "votes" to fix it, so if your bug is a duplicate of someone else's it counts as another vote to fix it and that bug gets a higher priority. Bugs mentioned on the lists (like this one) are simply ignored (or more accurately, not seen to begin with).
