HyperCard and its HyperTalk are, IMO, the best 'natural language' places to
start. Much better than AppleScript (which is a grown-up cousin, anyway.)
Programming without an interface is difficult, and HC gives you one right
out of the gate.
I used HC/HT for 5 years as the programming language for our 7th and 8th
grade course in programming.
Also, I would recommend any of the variants of LOGO, especially Turtle Logo.
These still work just fine OMM, which is OS9.1. I use HyperCard everyday of
my working life ... still. And my own nephew has made a fairly funny game
using Turtle Logo.
