GUI Scripting question...

  • Subject: GUI Scripting question...

Folks,
Anyone having any luck getting an enabled property via the GUI scripting
capabilities in 10.2.x?

Given the following:

tell application 3System Events2
tell process 3application name2
Get enabled of button 2 of list 1 of window 1
end tell
end tell

returns:
Applescript Error
System events got an error:
NSCannotCreateScriptCommandError
[OK]

Is this just a bug in the current state of System Events? I can 3get
focused2 properties on the same UI element, no problem.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Todd
