The kindest thing you can do to new scripters is to introduce them to Script
Debugger. I wasted 2 years of my life fumbling around in the Script Editor
-- debugging with "display dialog" commands -- before I discovered Script
Debugger.

Also, Script Debugger's dictionary and explorer will be invaluable when
explaining application dictionaries and object models.
