As a 6th chair failed saxophonist from 30 years ago I've also discovered
that even a lowly carpenter can grok enough Applescript to make his Mac hum,
through long lurking and much plagiarizing I have about 60 scripts I use
more or less regularly. Kudos to you with the irascible, cantankerous genius
to keep pushing the envelope. I might even take up the kazoo.
