(I know this is not specifically related to AppleScripting, but I've posted
it a couple of other places and never got any responses, and I know there
are some expert users of Entourage on this list that probably know the
answer. :) )
I send out an email newsletter via Entourage, and it's come to my attention
that Yahoo is displaying it in a funky way, that some of my lines are too
long and then there's a "widow" of a word or two on the following line, like
this (imagine this is one sentence):
asldk as;dlkj as;dlk as;dlkj as;dlkj as;dlk
asld;a as;ldk
asdlkj ad;la ;alsd as;dlk asd;l;asdflk asdl;
asdl
instead of freely wrapping text that just moves to the next line when one
fills up in a sane, legible fashion ANY SERVICE OTHER THAN YAHOO SEEMS TO BE
DOING! (sorry, I'll try to remain calm now) But I did sign myself up for
and read my own mail at several other services, it all looks lovely except
at Yahoo.
So I thought, just go into my Entourage and tell it to make my line lengths
shorter, give it a maximum of 65 characters or so, instead of the almost 80
it seems to be using by default. I know I've seen this feature on other
programs I've used for email, but because of some AppleScripts I have going
I'm feeling kind of attached to Entourage at that moment. However, after
mucking about in the menus and help files, I can't find one darn thing about
this. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Does anyone know what I'm
missing here or have any other creative suggestions? Is Entourage just
missing this feature, or am I missing something?
Thanks! Ramona
