I tried copying on and opening it to edit..

Which one? Anyway you just need to create scripts in

/Library/Scripts/Script Editor Scripts/<optional subdirectory>/

to have them listed in the CM.

For some reason it will not recognise scripts in the ~/Library.... path even if you create an alias to it in /Library..... Either I'm missing something or this is a bug.
