Moving bookmarks into Safari

A user of the browser OmniWeb has hundreds of bookmarks that we would
like to move to Safari. OmniWeb's native bookmark format is HTML, and
if I open the OmniWeb bookmark file in a Safari window, I can drag the
bookmarks one at a time into a Safari collection. This will take ages.
Is there a way to script Safari to import all the bookmarks? I don't
see anything promising in the dictionary.
