A user of the browser OmniWeb has hundreds of bookmarks that we would like to move to Safari. OmniWeb's native bookmark format is HTML, and if I open the OmniWeb bookmark file in a Safari window, I can drag the bookmarks one at a time into a Safari collection. This will take ages.

Is there a way to script Safari to import all the bookmarks? I don't see anything promising in the dictionary.

If you aren't able to script it, you might want to look at URL Manager Pro. Among it's many features, it can import bookmarks from OmniWeb and export to Safari.
