I am not a programmer, but I am a photographer that has applescripted my
entire workflow. You are /we are not answering H.S. Photo's question.
He needs to save various images and delete others that have not been
selected by the client (I think). Just giving a file file extension is not
enough because all the images in his home folder are probally jpgs or tiffs.
He needs to delete individual file names. If that is the case his route
would might have to be flagging images in a database and getting the script
to search the database for those images and then delete them.
Without knowing his workflow (either real or projected) its a very difficult
question to answer.
PS I have just returned to this forum to learn about the changes in
applescript for OSX. Its a great forum, and in OS.old I learnt a
lot.....Thanks. Is there a quick reference resource out there for
OSX...shell scripts ie ??
