So when I looked at a the window elements when I am editing a script I
can see that the pop up button is available, not sure if you can choose
an item...
click pop up button 1 of window "Script Definition for Your Script
Name Here"
Isn't UI Scripting "fun". Just Curious: why would you want to script
the script editor?
By the way, have you tried UI Browser 1.2
(
http://www.prefab.com/uibrowser/) It is great for interpreting the
information from the UI information available. Apple's UI Scripting
information lists this program for information. It is a good tool for
looking at the details and getting somewhat formatted applescript
generated for you for a particular element.

Hi
I'm looking at UI Scripting having been away from it for a little
while and I'm struggling. Specifically I want to see whether I can
script FileMaker Pro's Script Editor - and the answer seems to be a
resounding no. For example, the "View" popup button in the top left
corner of the script editor when editing a script seems to consist of
an empty array. Indeed, when I get UI Scripting to click on it, we
have an empty list.
Has anyone had any joy in scripting FM's script editor? If so, would
you like to pass on a hint or two as I'm stuck.
TIA
