They are old, I'll give you that. It would be great if Apple would
have new up-to-date ones generated. However, with regard to the
outdated AppleScript ROI study specifically, I think this still
contains some very useful information to show to management.
It shows actual dollar savings by various companies utilizing
AppleScript in their workflows. I think the fact that it's outdated
makes it even better because the numbers could only be higher by now.
Since the study is several years old, imagine how much additional
savings have been gained in these and other companies across the world.
For example, the study mentions that in one year, Hallmark generated
$3.6 million in benefits from implementing an AppleScript-based
workflow. If they are still using that same workflow, then they have
probably saved $14+ million by now.
