In my experience the fastest is to run it as a compiled script (not an
applet) from Eudora's own Scripts menu. (Speed aside, considering the kind of
script this seems the most logical place to store & call it from anyway.)
If you don't see a Scripts menu in Eudora, create it by making a folder
"Scripts" in one of the supported locations. I like ~/Documents/Eudora
Folder/Eudora Items/Scripts/
For versions of Eudora pre 5.x, which don't have a Scripts menu of their own,
you can use John Delacour's solution at <
http://www.bd8.com/eudora/scripts/>.
