With the help of Christopher Stone and Emmanuel I
now have a script that when called will send the
"open" message, in Eudora, to "uce-ftc.gov". Now
I'd like for it to be faster.

In my experience the fastest is to run it as a compiled script (not an
applet) from Eudora's own Scripts menu. (Speed aside, considering the kind of
script this seems the most logical place to store & call it from anyway.)

If you don't see a Scripts menu in Eudora, create it by making a folder
"Scripts" in one of the supported locations. I like ~/Documents/Eudora
Folder/Eudora Items/Scripts/

For versions of Eudora pre 5.x, which don't have a Scripts menu of their own,
you can use John Delacour's solution at <http://www.bd8.com/eudora/scripts/>.

This looks like the simplest cure. The
"~/Documents/Eudora Folder/Eudora Items/Scripts/script" has to be in place before the menu bar option exists. Now if I could only find a way to access it with a shortcut key combo.

Thanks all,
