Other than speed disk, exactly what good are steps 2 and 3? Letting norton
modify your drive automatically is probably safer than bouncing it down the
stairs, but not by much. The only thing norton will do for you that DW won't
is to check individual files for corruption, but it can't fix those.

Um...can I just say that running 4 diskutilities the way you are thinking of
is just begging for dead drives?
