Originally, it was part of somebody's idea that we feeble benighted
scripters should not be allowed to see the inner workings of AppelScript as
it might confuse us, as I was told quite forcefully by a very distinguished
AppleScript maven when I was starting out and eager to learn everything I
could. I'm still angry about it. I can't imagine that there's anyone left at
Apple with that patronizing attitude but still Script Editor won't show it
to you. Nor, oddly, will Script Debugger. Just Smile.
