I was trying to avoid specifics, but yes.
Yeah, I know, but he's got broad shoulders. I've been known to give
him the odd swat myself from time to time. :-)

Actually I stopped being angry about it a long time ago - it's more a figure
of speech now - and it takes someone asking about it for me even to recall
the issue now. The idea of trying to prevent and thwart curiosity is still
one that shocks me, as it should, but the particular issue is long behind
me.
Phew. Glad to hear that.
The best thing - at the time - was simply getting Smile and thanking
Emmanuel for providing this important feature for free. Even now, I have a
lot more essential feature and bug requests to spend time on - since I can
always just open up Smile and check the AS dictionary there if I need to.
When the other bugs and features are taken care of ;-), yes, this is
something I might get around to requesting. (See, it doesn't work me up all
that much any more. But newcomers to AppleScript should indeed be able to
find it in Script Editor.)
There are bigger fish to fry, that's for sure. I could be recalling
incorrectly, but I could swear that some stuff lurking in the
AppleScript dictionary is unimplemented. I have lived under the
impression that it was one of the reasons for hiding it. If that's
the case, that problem should be fixed as well, and in general I
agree with your point, but I've never been particularly bothered by
it.
