10.2.8 should not have been released, obviously. The trouble reports are incredibly varied, far beyond the ethernet issue that is the official reason for withdrawing it.

Do an archive and install and drop back to 10.2.6. The OS software you are running can only be considered beta and should not, IMO, be used on any system that is required to work properly.
