Batch PDF Conversions

I need to take a batch of old Pagemaker 6.0 and WriteNow 4.0 files and
convert them to PDF... While retaining the current file name and preferably
the creation (and/or) modification date of the original file.

I just got the Adobe premium suite, so I have Acrobat 6 Pro and IndesignCS
with the PageMaker Plug-in pack... Could AppleScript do this?
