That's not very effective!
One has to restart the app before it takes effect in that app!
LOL. Well I have to restart the whole computer a couple times a month
anyway due to swapfile proliferation, so it suits me fine. ;)
And with some apps, such as Hog Bay Notebook, it has no effect at all!
Send 'em a bug report?
A much better way to do it is via UI scripting.
If you're in a text field _and_ you're running Panther. I'm on 10.2.8.
