That makes sense. 'open' in the Standard Suite is equivalent to getting the
Finder to open it. (I was actually surprised to see they kept this. Bit now
knowing there's a real distinction between 'open' and 'open workbook' even
for simple commands that don't need special optional parameters is useful.)
'open workbook' will get "under the skin".

So it might not work automatically from Startup folder, OK.
