The KeySpan Serial port devices work well for this. I've used
http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/USA19HS/ with a CM11 using both XTension
( http://www.shed.com/ ) and Indigo (
http://www.perceptiveautomation.com/indigo/ )
Keyspan make both DB-9 and mini DIN-8 (Mac) serial port devices depending on
your cabling needs.
