I don't say how you should make your script. I say that maybe you
don't need a script - maybe you can get rid for good of the tedious
entity-generation operation.
If you want, look at the source of:
<http://www.satimage.fr/fr/index.html>, which is full of ´
compared to the source of:
<http://www.satimage-software.com/fr/index.html>, where you see
plenty "é" and even a "À"
The latter is a UTF-8 (as specified in the header): in an UTF-8 html
source you can write accented characters, and even "".
