Hello list
Does anyone know how can I get FileMaker Pro to run an AppleScript stay open
application via the FMP's internal Send Apple Event script step?
I can get an applet to work if I send the Open Application event but its way
to slow to be of practical use. The do script event doesn't seem to work
(possibly because I'm not setting it up right), I guess what I'm looking for
is the Run event which I would use if I knew what it was.
I have run into the FileMakers "do menu items" problem where the Perform
AppleScript step wont work because menu items are disabled when running an
FMP ScriptMaker script. I know the idea of using a stay open app to overcome
this is very "Heath Robinson", however, I cant see any other way around
this. Any ideas much appreciated.
Paul
