Hello list
Does anyone know how can I get FileMaker Pro to run an AppleScript stay open
application via the FMP's internal Send Apple Event script step?
There are plenty of appleEvent/appleScript application examples in
the AppleScript folder which is installed beside Filemaker.
I have run into the FileMakers "do menu items" problem where the Perform
AppleScript step wont work because menu items are disabled when running an
FMP ScriptMaker script.
Which menu items are you trying to invoke?
I know the idea of using a stay open app to overcome
this is very "Heath Robinson", however, I cant see any other way around
this. Any ideas much appreciated.
The FMP examples do this, so there is a precedent.
