Enabling and Attaching Folder Actions

Hi Guys,

I'd like to be able to enable, disable, attach, and remove folder actions in whatever way in either AppleScript or Carbon. I've been looking all over and can't figure out how to do it. I've even been experimenting with modifying the FolderActions plist but despite creating a file *exactly* the same as the one normally created, nothing will make OS X recognize my changes (logout, restart, nothing). I'd really like to be able to do this and I'm sure it must be possible.

Thanks,

Seth Willits
