Actually MacErrors.h only contains a fraction (around 3000 errors in the
file) of all the errors Apple has ever used at somewhere around 8000 errors.

Before you do that, know that the information is available for free,
though not in a particularly pretty form. All current (publicly
published) OS error codes are listed in the file MacErrors.h, which is
part of the Developer Tools package -- see
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/
CarbonCore.framework/Headers/MacErrors.h. (Or you can grab a slightly
out-of-date version from my iDisk <
http://homepage.mac.com/c.nebel>.)
