I like the iCal solution. That's what we're using on our file server to
initiate daily tasks. The nice thing about using iCal to schedule
scripts is that it's pretty easy to figure out and change by other
people. My boss likes to be able to sit down at a computer and figure
out what's going on if he needs to fix a problem, and iCal is something
he understands. He's never heard of cron or CronniX, so using those
wouldn't help him out at all.
