Received from Florian Weber on 1/21/04.
Dear Ms. Weber.
With the ScriptEditor application running, select Open Dictionary from the File menu.
Then you'll be presented with a choice of many applications.
Select the application whose dictionary you want to examine.
Some browsers have limited support for scripting, others have more support.
Using the application System Events, which Apple provide, set the checkbox "enable access for assistive devices" to ON. This is found in the System Preferences application in the Universal Access section.
Then you'll be able to use System Events to control most all applications (only if necessary, I've found).
To discover the syntax of menu item control, run the Apple-provided script "Probe Menu Bar," substituting the name of your intended application in the appropriate place in the script.
The Probe Menu Bar script is found in the folder "/Users/[your user name]/Library/Scripts/UI Element Scripts/
