You still can read scripts much better. I'm on a list where we can, and do,
send in scripts formatted (HTML) and it's so much better, even if
occasionally someone sends in something that looks garish to me.
The main advantage is that long lines don't have hard breaks, but the
formatting also makes errors easier to spot, and correct indentation spacing
makes nested blocks much easier to understand.
