Quark 6 Passport: Will not set page width / height

Hello all,
Can anyone verify with Quark 6 that doing the following does not work.
Tell application "QuarkXpress"
tell document 1
set page width to "30 cm"
set page height to "30 cm"
end tell
end tell
This works in prior versions on OS9 but not in Quark 6 on OSX Panther.
No error message is returned. Quark simply doesn't do anything.
