The only way I know of doing this would be with a QuarkXPress XTension, and I'm
not even sure it's possible.
The default behavior of QuarkXPress is to show a warning dialog asking the user
if we wants to see the picture usage dialog, and you apparently want to bypass
that.
One thing you can do is turn off picture checking in the QuarkXPress
preferences, and do the check yourself. You'll have to come up with your own
design to show the user the missing pictures though. You could use 'choose from
list' for that, although it's rather ugly. If you're using AppleScript Studio,
FaceSpan, or have an OSAX that allows you to do GUIs in AppleScript, then that
could be a good solution for you.
