It works with BBEdit 6.5

In the case of Mail, the dictionary says the "at" parameter is compulsory. I wouldn't be surprised if it was required by the others, too -- it certainly gets rid of the error in TextEdit.

No, it works here without "at".
The original script works fine in TE.
