There is no formatting information on any of the e-mails sent through the listserver. If you take a look at the raw source of the messages you will see that it is as "plain text" as it gets. Any formatting that is there is done by your e-mail client. If you are using Mail.app to read your mail maybe you have your fonts set to something odd when it comes to show plain text?

All I;m trying to say is I wish I could receive emails
with a small list of clickable one line statements and then
I may not waste too much time.

Clickable to what? All of these are e-mails, not web-links. If you are in digest mode then you receive them all in one message, listed by time sent. If you are in message mode then you can get each e-mail individually. I find that message mode is the better way to read the e-mails since in Mail.app they appear threaded by subject. applescripts are best when they are able to automate an
otherwise tediously boring task very simply, where are the
keyboard shortcut commands of and for applescripts kept ?

Generally there aren't keyboard shortcuts for applescripts, unless you have a third-party application that lets you bind a program or file to a certain key combination. You can, however, enable the scripting menu which provides you with an easily-accessible list of scripts:
