Hi All,

I am a Applescript newbie in at the deep end with the design & development of a complex workflow process. The process will involve downloading and expanding a large number of .zip files. Each zip will contain a .txt and .jpg file will then required to be interrogated, the correct strings located, extracted and logged to a database.

If there is anyone out there who can help in anyway, either with advice of which apps. (TextEdit, Tex-Edit, Stuffit etc) to use or code snippets, it will be deeply appreciated. Advice on how to structure the process either as a series of Apple-script's or a complete app. built in X-code would also help loads.

If any of you Applescript gurus' are interested in becoming more involved with the project please email me off the list and I will supply more details.

Many thanks

John
