Script Timer will run compiled scripts in the background. If you
need to use saved properties it will also a run script application
either as if it were a compiled script or as an application. (You
won't get the flash if you don't run it as an application.) Take a
look at it at the web site in my signature. Just click on the
Shareware and Freeware button.
