Exporting XML in InDesign CS

Anyone know the command to export XML in InDesign CS? The old command was supposedly
export story 1 format XML to theDocPath
but I keep getting "Can't make some data into the expected type".
Ideally I'd want to get all the stories exported at once, which is what happens when I export the
document manually. I'm telling Indesign as well as document 1, and I can get and set the properties
of the XML export with no problems, it just doesn't like the export command, and I can't quite figure
out why. All the text is tagged and I can export the document manually.
