Yeah, I read that thread but it didn't seem applicable as the passwords
don't contain hash codes (unless AppleScript is inserting them behind
the scenes)
One of the errors I kept getting which was actually more informative
than "remote access not allowed" came from OS 9 Macs machines trying to
run the script (portClosedErr -916 The port was closed.) I think our
server guys have locked down any ports they don't have a specific use
for/knowledge of.
If all else fails, my boss said I could purchase an Apple tech support
incident...
