Hi,

Is there a way for an Applescript to be invoked from Safari in any way?

I imagine it's not possible due to security concerns, but I'm asking anyway :)

a) perhaps it can be done via a schema (like script://...)?
b) perhaps it can be done with a Javascript link or function?
c) perhaps it can be done with a JS bookmarklet (impossible without 'b'?)?

I'm also guessing that the script would have to already be installed on the client's system as an available script, unless something could be done with embedding.

This is entirely for my own use, so I'm less concerned about it working for everyone, or being a security risk for everyone... as long as it can be controlled in my own environment, that's a good start.
