Word 2004 and applescript?

  • Subject: Word 2004 and applescript?

I have had a number of VB/applescripts that used to work fin in word
2001. Basically applescript would drive VB to call a merge document
(sample.mer) and then merge it with a merge doc and create a new
document with the merged data in it. Simple yes, with word 2004 NO!

Has anyone tried using pure Applescript to make the calls to word 2004
to merge a doc. I have tried the scripts from the dictionary, and even
called MS support( who said they knew nothing about it), to no avail.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Rick
