Quark and Save EPS WITHOUT Preview

  • Subject: Quark and Save EPS WITHOUT Preview

Hi List,

I've been working on saving Quark docs as EPSes. Things are working very well except when it comes to varying the output options dynamically. Specifically, I want to vary whether the preview is used based on an option in my database. However, Quark seems to be ignoring this altogether.

Look:

save page 1 of document 1 in theEPSFile EPS format Mac color EPS data clean EPS OPI include images scale theScale bleed theBleed without include preview

The EPS file that is saved still has a preview. Further, I can't seem to choose between PICT or TIFF if I DO include a preview. Am I missing something here?

Also, can I apply variables to some of the constants, such as the OPI options? So, could I say this:

save page 1 of document 1 in theEPSFile EPS format Mac color EPS data clean EPS & theOPIoptions & scale theScale bleed theBleed without include preview

Am about to test this but was hoping for some clarification.

Thanks,
Steve
