Thanks to those who helped me with clearing away some of my errors and
cobwebs. I dabbled in AppleScript years ago but have only recently
taken it up again. I had some faint memory of two types of list and
another of best type, but just couldn't quite parse them. They don't
seem to be in AppleScript Definitive Guide, as I guess if proper if
they're depreciated, deplored, whatever.
Special thanks to Michael Terry, who told me exactly what I wanted to
know.
