Launching scripts via Keyboard Shortcuts of Keyboard System Pref Panel

  • Subject: Launching scripts via Keyboard Shortcuts of Keyboard System Pref Panel

I recall reading somewhere a workaround on how to use the new global keyboard shortcuts option of the system prefs to launch an applescript. I can't seem to get it to work, for either a script or an applet.
What are the options for making use of this global shortcut option as a way of launching applescripts... either a script file in the applescript menu and/or an applet anywhere else on the disk?

Thanks,
Joe Weaks
