Question about Photoshop

Hello all,

I have to convert 20000 images from DCS to EPS in Photoshop.

I want to use AppleScript to select images based on certian criteria and to
convert the images.

Is there a way to tell Photoshop to not showing the process. I mean is it
possible to tell Photoshop open the image but don't show it on the screen
and save it in EPS. Something like open for acces...

I am not very familiar with those things but, If I can do that the process
will be a lot faster. What do you think?

Thank you!
