Print script error

(Following up on my previous question about getting a selection)..

If I put the following into script editor and run it (Cmd-R) with some
of the text selected

get the selection
print the result

it will run with no compile error, but puts up an error
"NSRecieverEvaluationScriptError: 5" What does this mean, and is there
any way to tell what NSReciever it is referring to (in some
application, I assume). Somehow, I don't want to see Cocoa errors
inside Applescript..
