But I thought I'd mention the best utility that I managed to find during a
couple of hours of searching:
http://www.monroe.net/~dhh/exifprobe.d/exifprobe.html
Download, make install and you'll get both exifprobe and exifgrep and
retrieve more tag information than you can shake a stick at from both jpg
and tif data.
And I'd also like to suggest that Image Events is updated so that we don't
need to use the shell to get EXIF data from images.
