As of yet, neither do, although PPT does, IIRC support VBA.
Actually, PowerPoint X has a single AppleScript command 'do Visual Basic'
which is like Word's: if you know VBA you can access via AppleScript this
way, which is useful in multi-application workflow contexts and accessing
PPT from the outside.
